The new HAMADA B452 offset printing machine has been developed to correspond timely with these emerging color printing needs, in line with digitalization as a main stream in the graphic arts industry worldwide.

Simple And Heavy-Duty Construction

The kind of precision and heavy-duty construction that the industry would expect from Hamada is all realized in the Hamada B452 and Hamada B452A offset printing machines. As a starter, the hamada B452 ‘s unitized chassis-bed has solid 35mm (1-3/8″) thick cast iron side frames and heavy-duty cast iron bed, to ensure the press will cruise at a smooth 10,000 iph speed.

Feeding format is LANDSCAPE so that paper control registration and print quality is at its highest level whether it is a short run or an extra long run. The cylinder layout and helical-cut drive gears add to the Hamada B452 ‘s precision performance. Blanket cylinder bearings are triple race and the plate, impression and triple-diameter transfer cylinders are guarded by tapered bearings for ultra smooth and reliable printing. Hamada engineering also used pneumatic control on pressure ON/OFF mechanism for cylinders and form rollers to lessen the number of moving parts, thus providing lower maintenance costs. The inking section is the best engineered in this category with 16 rollers (3 form rollers) computer-derived ink distribution, with oscillation rollers externally driven.

To set the standard for printing in the next generation, the Hamada B452A offset printers comes equipped with EPS (Easy Plate Setting) system. For added savings in costly make-ready, a register punch is standard for both the B452 and B452A printers. Blanket washer is standard, making job changes easy and fast. The Hamada B452 and Hamada B452A offset machine have factory-installed Ink-key control system as option.
