With the 5450, more is less. It can produce 60-120 pages per minute – and all at a page cost that is less than you’d expect to pay for copies. At full speed, a 1,000 print run takes less than 10 minutes.

The Gestetner 5450 is built for long-term durability. A new engine featuring a dual cylinder design enhances reliable operation and output quality. A short, straight paper path provides a more dependable paper feed.

GREAT IMAGE QUALITY

Digital technology – with an ultra fine thermal head and enhanced 400 dpi resolution – gives the 5450 an advantage in imaging. Plus you can choose from five print modes for maximum image quality:

• Line Mode for standard prints.
• Photo Mode to improve photo reproduction and eliminate “blackouts.”
• Line/Photo Mode to distinguish between line and continuous tone areas on originals and automatically select the clearest reproduction for each.
• Pencil Mode to automatically darken light originals without darkening background.
• Image Paste Up Mode to eliminate shadows from uneven materials.

COMMUNICT E  IN  COLOR

The 5450 makes communications more attractive with a touch of color and more paper choices. By alternating the self-contained cylinders, spot color is easy to add. Choose from 10 colors plus basic black. The new cylinder design provides tight registration. Enjoy versatility in paper selection. The 5450 handles originals and paper supply in a wide range of sizes, from as small as 3.5″ x 5.5″ to as large as 11″ x 17″, in paper types ranging from 13 lb. bond to 110 lb. card stock. Even envelopes and specialty papers will feed reliably.

THE CONNECTIVITY  OPTION

Just add the appropriate controller to easily connect the 5450 with a standalone computer (PC or Mac), or almost any network. The 5450 is plug-and-play ready.

A CLEAN MACHINE
The 5450 has a master loading process similar to a selfwinding camera. Ink cartridges load and remove quickly and neatly, and the
Master Disposal System is also fully enclosed. Just slide out the cartridge, empty and slide back in.
